1. Introduction

This Licenses Terms document outlines the terms under which products and services purchased or accessed through Hostiva.tech ("Hostiva," "we," "our," or "us") are licensed to you ("User," "you," or "your"). These terms apply to all digital products, software, AI solutions, and content available on our platform, whether provided by Hostiva or third-party vendors ("Authors").

By purchasing, downloading, or using any product from the Hostiva platform, you agree to be bound by the specific license terms applicable to that product, as well as these general Licenses Terms.

2. General Licensing Principles

2.1 Grant of License
Upon purchase or acquisition of a product, you are granted a license, not ownership, of the product. The specific rights granted depend on the license type associated with the product.

2.2 License Scope
Licenses granted are typically non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable, subject to the terms outlined herein and in the specific license agreement for the product.

2.3 Restrictions
Unless explicitly permitted by the specific license terms, you may not:

- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble software products
- Use the product in a way that violates applicable laws or infringes on third-party rights
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the product for purposes other than those expressly permitted by the license

3. Common License Types

Hostiva and its Authors may offer products under various license types. The specific license applicable to a product will be clearly indicated on the product page. Common license types may include:

3.1 Standard License (Single Use)
- Permitted Use: Allows use of the product by one individual user for one specific project or end product.
- Restrictions: Cannot be used for multiple projects or by multiple users. Not for resale or redistribution.

3.2 Extended License (Multiple Use)
- Permitted Use: Allows use of the product by one individual user for multiple projects or end products.
- Restrictions: Still limited to a single user. Not for resale or redistribution.

3.3 Team/Business License
- Permitted Use: Allows use of the product by a specified number of users within a single organization for internal business purposes or client projects.
- Restrictions: Limited to the specified number of users. Not for resale or redistribution outside the organization.

3.4 Subscription License
- Permitted Use: Allows use of the product or service for the duration of an active subscription.
- Restrictions: Access and usage rights terminate upon subscription cancellation or expiration. Subject to terms outlined in the Premium Terms or specific subscription agreement.

3.5 Open Source Licenses
- Some components or products may be offered under standard open-source licenses (e.g., MIT, GPL, Apache). Use of such products is governed by the terms of the specific open-source license.

3.6 Custom Licenses
- Specific products, particularly complex AI solutions or enterprise offerings, may be subject to custom license agreements negotiated between the User and the Author or Hostiva.

4. AI Solution Specific Terms

4.1 Data Usage
Licenses for AI solutions may include terms regarding the use of data processed by the solution. Refer to the product-specific terms and our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

4.2 Model Training
Unless explicitly stated, licenses typically do not grant rights to retrain, modify, or extract the underlying AI models.

4.3 Output Rights
You generally retain ownership of the unique outputs generated by you using the AI solution, provided your use complies with the license terms. However, the underlying AI model and technology remain the property of the Author or Hostiva.

5. Author Responsibilities

Authors offering products on the Hostiva platform are responsible for:
- Clearly specifying the license type applicable to their product
- Ensuring they have the necessary rights to grant the specified license
- Providing accurate descriptions of the product and its permitted uses

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:
- Understanding and complying with the license terms applicable to each product you purchase or use
- Ensuring your use of the product does not exceed the scope of the granted license
- Protecting the product from unauthorized use or distribution

7. License Verification and Audits

Hostiva and its Authors reserve the right to verify your compliance with license terms. For business or enterprise licenses, we may require periodic audits (subject to reasonable notice) to confirm usage does not exceed licensed limits.

8. Termination of License

Your license to use a product may be terminated if you breach these Licenses Terms or the specific license agreement for the product. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the product and destroy any copies in your possession.

9. Disclaimer

Products are licensed "as is" without warranties of any kind, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description or a separate warranty agreement. Hostiva does not guarantee that products will meet your specific requirements or operate error-free.

10. Governing Law

These Licenses Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

11. Changes to Licenses Terms

We may update these Licenses Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms on the Hostiva platform. Your continued use of products after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
